Founded in 2001 by Sephiroth, Lunatic Affliction stands for uncompromising underground Black Metal infused with Nordic atmospherics, brought to life through tales of ancient mythology, demonology, misanthropy, and naturalism. After a creative hiatus and several line-up changes, this project from the Nuremberg Black Metal underground has, since 2016, channelled the energies of the black arts into three full-length albums and a handful of rare live performances.
In 2024, the latest opus Nerto Brixtia emerged, now to be carried forward with a new voice from Austria.
