Wolves Den

Genre: Black Metal
Origin: Germany (2013
)

Wolves Den stand for Blackened Death Metal that tramples its heritage somewhere between Dissection, Marduk, and Rotting Christ. Their German lyrics spill forth like a heavy, unholy tide over a storm of drums and savage riffs. And just when the darkness feels absolute, the four Munich musicians shift gears — unleashing masterful melodies and wrathful rhythms that whip their audience into a frenzy of headbanging devotion.
Founded in Munich in 2013 by Mexx and Helge, Wolves Den soon enlisted seasoned veterans Manuel Di Camillo and Stefan Botz to complete the line-up. After a series of shows and a demo, the debut album Deus Vult emerged in 2015 — a defiant creation unleashed without divine blessing. The following years saw two tours and countless gigs across Europe, including appearances at Ragnarök, Darktroll, Dark Easter Metal Meeting, and Heathen Rock. In 2018/2019, the band birthed their second opus Miserere, released on May 15, 2020 via Trollzorn — a work steeped in darkness, fury, and relentless intent.
